Glovebox light

Featured Replies

Replaced my glove box bulb with a fancy LED one: http://cgi.ebay.co.uk/ws/eBayISAPI.dll?ViewItem&item=220544552442

However, I have the entire fitting out, including the plug, and I can't fit the damn thing back in the hole!

Any tips on doing this? Hope I don't need to remove the entire glove box and feed through from the back...

The glovebox is very easy to remove, just with 6 torx screws and it will drop down. Don't be daunted by it ;)

Fixed!

I could only find 5 screws though, but there was one rolling around in the glove box which looks the right fitting...

3 along the top, inside the box, two outside and below.

Thanks for the help though! Took me a little while as my screw driver was too big to fit easily in the space...

Very . . .green! :giggle: Green roof lights too?

What's the thing on the screen under the mirror?

Yup, all green. Colour coded emoticon-0144-nod.gif

And it's a 2nd mirror, so I can see back seat passengers (aka my daughter)

Nice :) although I imagine it makes finding stuff harder!

Clever idea really - I've noticed some Fords have them built in by the interior light - neat little feature.
