Grey works for me!

I personally think grey looks a lot better. It's what I'd have them done if I were doing it.

Go for anthracite/charcoal, you won't regret it!!

It looks good in all lights and all states of dirtiness.

Problem with black wheels sometimes is that you end up with too many different tones of black on the car (if that make sense), all are black but just slightly different to each other - anthracite is the sensible middle ground and normally complements the tyre colour best too.

By black you need to decide if you mean gloss or matt - I would avoid gloss on older cars as i don't think it suits anything apart from newer design cars with over-sized wheels, gloss is also a pita to keep clean!

Got anthracite on my silver mr2 and also had debated matt black - I am happy now that anthracite was the best decision.

The wheelspecialist are worth a look if you need to find somewhere to get it done properly - was very good service and i haggled a really good price

Andy.
