On my estate there is a hinged and sprung plastic cover over the steel loop in the floor that secures the tailgate when latched shut. The plastic cover has popped off but not actually broken. Anyone know how to put it back on?

I will get a photo and ask again.Seems very fragile, maybe I was just very unlucky.

Sorry mate, not had that problem on my previous estate or current hatch. Stick a picture up & someone with ETKA or ELSAWIN might be able to help.

I had the same problem, ended up breaking it off(not deliberately) trying to fix back on. Probably best to get the dealer to fix if it's still under warranty.
