Hi

Really strange this but i have noticed that when turning a tight left hand corner i get a real icy blast around the gear stick !

does this occur in any one elses car ?

I have tried adjusting/turning off the vents etc but to no avail

I have a Fabia vrs as well, and I just thought it was me, but I find it when going around roundabouts mainly, but could happen when turning left. Seems that when turning heating just throws out cold air.

Cold air gathers in the footwell thanks to it being more dense than warmer air. As you corner, the air 'sloshes' about and some of it escapes and makes its way over the center console. Think of it as a fluid gathering in the footwell to get a better idea of how it behaves.

A blast of hot air in the footwells for five minutes or so will sort it.
