Is it time to swap them back?

Featured Replies

As the weather is starting to warm up a little and there doesnt seem to be any sign of snow any time soon im toying with the idea of putting my summer alloys back on. I know about the 7oC suggestion but am i just wasteing the rubber on them leaveing them on as they are so soft what are other people doing?

Seeings as they gritted by me a couple of times this week, and the beading on the roof/bonnet keeps freezing, I'll be holding out a while longer.

We've had snow in April before now...

Leave them on till March at the earliest.

Its still cold and Feb is traditionally the coldest month

Mine are coming off In March...Youre still saving on your summer rubber

Keep them on until march.

Gritters still out here in Oldham.

Freezing everynight.

I would still keep them on.

I was driving around on the Moors and in some places it was car's thermometer was saying 4°C.

There was even some places that still had snow. :o

Keep em on (at least thats what my mother taught me :D) as I recently found out, they are great in standing water and we are sure to get plenty of rain even if it doesn't freeze/snow.

too early yet !!!!

winters rims and 'wound' up coilovers are still in place unfortunatly emoticon-0149-no.gif

I've never had winter tyres as I have never seen the point of getting any put on as the car seems to cope pretty well in the snow
