Wouldn't touch it with a barge-pole to be honset mate! You'd be much better off with a proper re-map (done with rolling-road if poss).

i wouldnt touch that. If you look through our forum sponsors, they are all highly regarded tuners who have a reputation to uphold. id go with one of them.

REVO, Jabbasport, P-Torque, shark performance.

I agree with Furby and Janners advice. These add on tuning kits can lead to ecu failure, as some on here have found out to their cost. You will get a small increase in performance but it isn't worth the risk. A proper remap is the way to go and you will enjoy your car trouble free for years.

I ran a digital tuning box for a couple of years before my remap, and I can't say I recognise the above comments. For analogue units, maybe I'd agree.

But what I WOULD say is that my DTB cost me a lot less than that DTK one you linked to! They're asking custom remap money for that, in which case it's not worth bothering due to DTBs only ever being able to alter fuelling, whereas a remap alters boost as well.

I can, however, see them become popular again due to anti-remap features on the latest ECUs, and (potentially) new MoT requirements that would fail 'illegal' remaps...

You pays your money and takes your choice, and I must say I agree with the advice about opting for a remap; just not for the same reasons as the posters above!
