Headlight problem

Featured Replies

Changed my bulbs a few weeks ago and all working fine. Since I had a service done they haven't worked 3 times, once straight after I got it back from the garage ( long story but they really messed up) and twice this week. Will check the connections again later but seems weird as to why they aren't working properly. Any ideas? Cheers

Why did you change bulbs in the first place?

When you say "not working properly" do you mean they don't come on and illuminate?

Does one side illuminate and one side doesn't?

Are the rear lights affected?

Please state what illuminates and what doesn't, when using light switch with ignition switched on.

Because I got some brighter Phillips bulbs. And when the engine is on turning headlight switch to driving beam and only side lights are on. Back lights are fine. Just tried them again and there fine, so not sure what the problem is!

Hi did you ever get this sorted as I am now getting the same intermittent thing happening on my Fabia's near side headlamp after upgrading to Phillip Xtremes and a full service?

If it's just one side, must be a connection to the bulb itself. Most likely bulb not seated correctly resulting in bad earth.
