Featured Replies

im thinking of changing my n75 valve ... but cant make my mind up between the ecs race one or the uprated vag one ( the one with the higher boost ) ... any opinions ?

The "J" valve and the ECS Race valve are the same thing as far as I'm aware. They are both crusty old valves which have a poor response time!

Because of their outdated design and slow response, they allow an initial boost spike to occur.

The best N75 to have is the current valve offered by your dealer.

so basically ask the dealer for the most upto date one for the my model of car

you do not need to change the n75 valve its a load of *******s that people thing will give you more power it doesnt it actually creates problems the ecs valve is essentially the same standard valve used on the k04 cars

thus used with k03s allows it to have a large boost spike ( how to kill turbo very quick) as mentioned above.

leave the standard one alone it does a very good job and is not something that will gain you any power !!!!!!!

spend your money on handling or brake upgrades this is far more important than just heaps of power.

Glad I seen this I was about to buy one!! I think I will save my money for a set of new 6 pot calipers.....

"the same standard valve used on the k04 cars"

So given that I have a k04, I should get this valve? :)
