What does this do?

Featured Replies

Hi,

What does the ball part do in the photo? Is it connected to the vacuum? Thinking this may have something to do with lost vacuum and limp modes.

Thanks

If the reservoir is leaking (especially if the leak is intermittent), it can cause problems with boost control.

Also make sure that the pipe circled in green is not blocked and gets put back on the airbox fitting. The N75 is a changeover valve. If the pipe is blocked/restricted, the vacuum capsule on the turbo will be slow to return.
