LPG

With V power at 1.36 a litre the time has come to go.......... LPG!!!

Just wish I had done it 6 months ago would have paid a quarter of the conversion cost by now

Thanks to karlbar for putting the idea in my head quick question any issues putting LPG on a remapped car (not using a high flow regulator?)

tesco 99 is only 126.9 ;)

Will you go for the spare wheel tank or the one that takes up half the boot?

Spare wheel no point wasting all that space with a full size alloy!

If I had an estate would probably get the big tank. My car doesnt like momentum 99 seems to run a lot smoother if I feed it V power.

I feel your pain. All I fill up with is Vpower, but lucky enough I managed to make £50/40 litres last well over a week the other day so quite happy about that.

I have an EGAS system and the Vaporiser/regulater was the standard one and when I asked the fitter about uprating things he said I should be good to 200KW whatever that works out as? standard VRS is 132KW/180BHP I think

i have a octy 1 estate 1.8t 4x4 running on gas - micromise sytem. Just fitted ngk silverline lpg plugs. This has made an incredible difference to performance and fuel consumption - at least 10% better. Now getting 320miles on a 60litre gas fill.

I regularly run to fumes so it takes 50-55 litres to fill, on that I usually get 300 miles which is about 25-26MPG BUT my boot is always FULL and I dont drive Miss Daisy :D

I actually got 40+ on a run the other day at a steady 65 so if you were to drive at 50-55 you should be super economical :D

I'm fortunate enough that a tank of fuel will normally last me over a month

Beauty of me only covering 200 miles a month in my vRS ;)
