well done buddy looks awsome

personally i think i'd have made it all black! so it doesn't get grubby

just move the vrs badge up if u get me?

I did a fair bit of offering up etc and with the need to tuck the material under the back, there wasnt really enough black material to make the corners sit nicely. So i decided to go with the white and black of the seats theme.Looks better in the 2 colours after offering it up etc and it was already black in the first place so a bit of a change was needed. And the white seems to end about where the seats are positioned so it looks better in my eyes, but i suppose everyone has different opinions etc.

Agreed, not many times you see somebody do something new to a vRS

on here these days. Truly original concept. (Wish I'd thought of it... :D )

Why didn't they make them like this from the factory?!

And this before i did them black with the connector housing removed so they sit better in the headlining.

Yeah that's the ones. They also do them in black so I've been told but I used the linked ones and painted them.

That looks brilliant! Good job mate

As every one has said, that armrest looks amazing!

Top work

Im guessing looking at this the metal bracket isnt used? Its just fastened to the centre console?

Yep

Watch the price of MK4 armrest's shoot up now! Haha!

However, top job!

Lol this thread is so old now, won't make a difference to price.

Definately didnt read when the thread was made  :giggle:

I dont supose anyone has bolted the support bracket in rather than using screws? Ive got access to welder so think it would be easy to just tack 3 bolts in and then fasten it in that way, i just cant figure out how to get the case on and in the centre conle whilst bolting the 2 together.
