Hello everyone,

I have got a 2002 Fabia 1.9D and the coil light on the dash board has just started flashing whilst driving, can anyone confirm what this might be?

Also I have noticed that the brake light on top of the rear windscreen has some of the lights in the strip permanately on, is this linked to the coil light issue?

i have a tdi and have had the coil light flashing turned out i had no brake lights at at.. it was the switch on the pedal. when i spoke to vw mechanic he said straight away it was something to do with the brakelights thats why it flashes. so i would think its something to do with your brakelights.

get the highlevel brake light checked, if not try the switch for the pedle.

that will stop the coil light
