Glow in the dark paint? For the light inserts?

After a run out at night the head lights would charge it, then they'd glow once the lights where off.. And the day light would charge up for the evening.

Is it not counter productive on the light inserts??

They'd charge during the day.

Show up during twilight.

Then when it was dark enough to turn your lights on the beams would overpower the glowing in the dark bits.

Until you parked up and switched your lights off at which point your lights will be really glowing, but you'd have gone indoors at where ever you'd gone in the first place.

Be cool for shows or cruises i guess or something to talk about in the local Maccy D's car park on a Sunday night

Of course if you could paint glow in the dark shapes on the body work that'd be cool when it got dark

Yeah, I figured it'd be a bit of a trick rather than permanent style... just liked the idea of it when all parked up..

Wonder if you could coat the underside of the car with it? lol.. shove a work light under before you head out and then have neons, without the neons.. teehee. Bit more subtle than neons as well.

There HAS to be a good use for this stuff! lol!

Highlight specific painted areas with UV led's, and It'll glow like David Hahn's toolbox!

I like thermochromic paint myself.

and to be honest Rob as i struggled to get white wheels approved by her indoors I think glow in the dark rims will be like peeing into a gale force 9

See i was thinking this!

IF you could make it clear rather than that creamy green colour it'd be like painting cars with invisble ink.

However the vandalism aspects might be a little dubious. Imagine loving your car just to find when it got dark someone had written "I LOVE SHEEP" which glowed down the side of your car!

If you done the inside of your lights with it you could put in an UV side light bulb.

The bulb would glow a soft purple while the paint would glow up like mad. Good for when you are parked or when it starts to get dark you can drive with just your side lights on before having to put the dipped beams on.
