as topic says "how do you find out what firmware version you have" as i have a freind with a 2009 sirroco and we were going to try my V7 disc to see if it works on his RNS510

Slide the unit out and it will be printed on a label on the top. Assuming no other firmware has been applied since new then that should be the version.
