Hp Ipaq 615 Connection Problems

Featured Replies

Hi,

Newbie here with a 2011 skoda superb 11 - I have an ipaq 615 that i am trying to get on HFP PROTOCOL - as i assume that rsap is not supported by my ipaq.

car recognises phone and bluetooth connection - but requires a 16 digit password - phone password screen will only allow 14 digits, so phone connection is not possible.- although it accepts the media player connection.

Anybody got any ideas for this?

The 16 digit password is for RSAP mode, you need to switch the car bluetooth to HFP mode assuming the module you have supports HFP. Once switched it should allow you to enter the standard 4 digit pin (0000) for example.

Thanks for your help, car is brand new superb elegance 140 hatchback - delivered Feb - how can i establish whether hfp is possible? if hfp is possible will i be able to see my phone book contents on the columbus display? - are there any major differences between them?

Having checked the manual - it makes no difference whether on hfp or rsap - you still need to enter a 16 digit pin - the ipaq 615 only lets you input 14 - is there a fix or a cheat?
