Sub Install

Featured Replies

Finally getting my sub install near to completion. Sub custom install (less amp/sub) came via another forum member.

Sub unit is Infinity 1240W and amp older JBL GTO6000.

Original equipment by installers, Genesis A30.1 and DLS A4 amp would be way over budget. Still some dressing to the wiring required and move earth to allow the false floor to drop into positiion.

Refined the green led lighting by installing a relay so the lights only come on with the hatch open and the stereo on.

Update on my install.

Spent last two days finishing off.

Added a unit with L&R VU Meters, Voltage display and temperature display. Had to modify Sub enclosure and other stuff for it to fit. Then spent ages this morning trying to eliminate "noise" introduced by the box. Ended up using existing rear speaker outputs into a Speaker to line level converter which also allows adjustment of levels to the meters. So welll happy.

And I reckon it don't half sound bad either.
