I want to be able to switch between my tomtom and iphone holder that both look like a56ha.jpg

but these usually clip into the swan neck suction type. I wondered if there was another alternative or do you need to buy an additional adaptor

Thanks

I have a dashmount in that location for my TomTom, but don't have any experience of switching between devices.

I know Brodit offer a 'swap over' system that would probably be suitable for what you're proposing. Obviously you decide on the metal mount that you want, and it's location - then decide what you want to fix to it

Slightly cheaper option on eBay for the actual dash bracket:

Hi

I have used the 2004 one that goes in front of the air vent at the top of the dash (Octy VRS 2010) (the low down left hand side ones always get hit by the knees of passengers) and it seems quite sturdy and fits well but I am not switching gadgets.

Note that if you buy the Dashmount brackets from www.costar.co.uk, they are a few pounds cheaper than from Dasmount themselves.

Cheers

Cheers for the heads up Dave and Steve for the cheaper price. Just need to locate the adaptor in eBay as dashmount sell them for £6 but I am sure if like above I can find it cheaper
