Water Leaks!

Featured Replies

Having heard other people have problems with their rear doors leaking i went out tonight to check my mine and sure enough carpets are wet and spots of mould beginning to show on door panels.

How easy is it to take panels off and on without doing any damage and how long would it take to do?

Tried looking on this forum to see where to put silicone to stop leak but with no joy.

took me bout 10mins to take o/s/r panel off yesterday only thing that broke was the clips that connect the trim to the door there are 7 of these and they were 29p each from tps.

this link will help you alot

That's brilliant! The guy doing it makes it look so easy!

That will be my job for saturday morning.

Many thanks.

Did both mine about 6 mouths ago,i put self tipping screws on the drivers side because they was a gap between the door and the carrier and did not think i need to do the same on the passage side but i looked today and the passage side as just showing signs its been leaking.Pull the trim off and push the carrier and water started to drop out,so i have put self tipping screws in that one now.

another tip is to use a hair dryer to dry the doors and carpets
