Hello from Romania!

Recently bought a 2008 Fabia Estate, got a good deal on it and I've been pleased with it. It's got 48,000km on it since buying it (I'm the 3rd owner already) I've had to change a coilpack and most recently had to have the clutch master cylinder serviced (gaskets worn and all the fluid leaked out). While being serviced, I had the dealer do a full inspection on the car and they told me the right driveshaft is bent and needs to be replaced ASAP, along with some other things under the hood. The car has been in an accident in the past and Romania's roads are terrible (for those not familiar), so it is plausible that it is bent.....however there are no noticeable symptoms, car drives perfectly fine in all conditions, no vibrations, no pulling to a side, nothing that would suggest a problem as far as I know.

My question is, should I trust what the dealer is telling me and replace it or are they pulling my leg looking for some more money (Romanians love to do this to western country foreigners here)? I'll likely have it looked at by an independent service that deals with Skodas/VW's/Audis.....but I wanted to check in here first.
