For anyone that owns a Turbo Dynamics PD150 MD376 what boost are you running and what power are you making?

1.8 bar and 230bhp 376ft torque

1.8 bar and 230bhp 376ft torque

Who mapped it and which rollers did it make those figures on?

1.9 steady, peaks over 2 bar. 240 @ jabbasport

No idea ! :D

I'd need to ask Ben @ Shark what boost i'm running, and it's never been on the rollers, feels good enough for me, thats all that counts.

Amen to that, far to many people put stock in rollers and figures rather than how a car drives.

rs tuning at leeds, dynomatic rollers

Too many people get hung up on figures etc. IMO a rolling road is good for a rough guide on power figures but are absolutely spot on for mapping.

If the car runs well and feels good then brilliant!!

1.75 peak at 1.9 bar and 215bhp 360ft lbs.

Technically not an MD376, it is however a GT1749VA with the BMW compressor wheel, same as an MD376.

I fear that Farmer may kick off another debate about injectors.... :p

I can't wait to go hybrid B)

Stage 2 pd150

1.9 bar

So it started out as the PD130 Garrett? I have one of those in my bedroom...

Pretty sure mines had a compressor wheel out of a saab?

Mines was from back in the day though what a roar it gave off

It did, yes.

But I'm sure the turbo wasn't from a skoda FAbia, as the pd130 ones are KKK ones, aren't they?

Yeah, the one I have was originally on a Golf or similar (ASZ engine), then clocked to fit a Fabia I believe. It's getting overhauled/hybridised when funds allow anyway B)

no clue, it's a CR Turbos hybrid rather than TD but it seems pretty quick and drives nice. took it to unit18 to be fitted and mapped

I was under the impression, stage 1 (gt18 wheel) is Saab stage 2 (gt20 wheel) is bimmer.

However there's not much difference in them both really.

Pass dunno but it was stage 2 was a 2004/2005 turbo

Anyone else?

I've the same turbo as you, mine was done by unit 18 just after yours. I've no idea on actual boost or BHP, think its around 1.9 bar and just over 200BHP, which doesn't make sense considering the figures quoted by other posters.

Thats a fair bit down on what Turbo Dynamics claim from the MD376...

aye there full of ****! to reach that kinda figure you req. water meth and dare i say it bigger injectors :o at the very least, i can't see a hybrid pd150 getting anywhere near 260bhp

the injectors aren't necessarily needed on a fabia vrs as some have standard injectors capable of 1,000,000 bhp :o

Uprated injectors again?

Standard injectors have been proven to be capable of making more than 260bhp, yet it is mentioned time and time again :wonder: .

Im agreeing standard injectors on a vrs can do 1 million bhp so its all good in the hood
