Vrs Seat Problems

Featured Replies

I have a 10 plate Vrs with less than 5000 miles on the clock, back in September it had to go back to the dealer with the collapsed seat bolster (as perviously discussed on here) with the exception that this was a passenger seat and not a drivers seat. Now I have noticed that there is a tear in the leather of the seat nearest the center console, again with the passenger seat.

Have I just got a crap seat or has anyone else had this problem??

The car has done less than 250 miles with a passenger so its not as though its been abused.

standard or optional leather seats?

I've got full leather and in just under 9000 no signs of wear in them, both driver and passenger seat used about the same.

Its just the standard seats, the rest of the car is great - its just the passenger seat thats caused any problems, which is stupid when its never used.

Iv'e just noticed a similar problem with my 10 plate VRS Estatedriver seat - side bolster has gone out of shape and it's going in next week to be rectified (under warranty I hope as it's only a year old)

My seats are standard and only the drivers bolster shows a little bit of wear. And that's after nearly 4 yr driven daily.

Has your passenger had anything sharp in their pockets?

Mine's over 3 years old now and I had to have the lumbar support fixed at 2.5 years - fine now. Seats all look brand new still.

Its true what they say you get what you pay for.
