Got my Spiders and Weitecs fitted...

Featured Replies

Due to it being dark by the time I'm free to take any pics!

I love the setup. And the car def handles alot better on the Weitecs.

I think the front could do with going doing a few more mm. The back is sitting just nicely at the minute. Only got them fitted on Wednesday and have only done around 50miles. Can't wait to fit the LCR splitter!

I have one question regarding fitting the spiders. Is there a way to re-programme the trip computer to take into account it's running on 17s and not 16s?

Also, does running on 17s upset the speedo much? i.e. could I be doing 20mph but the speedo says 25pmh +?

Thanks,

J

Nah the 17's are fine maybe 1mph higher so your speedo will be more accurate! Speedos over-read anyways so your always on the safe side

Any thoughts on the trip computer?

Same as speedo not much difference but it can be adjusted via vcds but no point

Thanks

Looks good, although i'd adjsut the fronts to be either level or lower than the back for better handling... rears can go all the way down with no issues, fronts can go as low as you want :)

Nice work, IMO there are no better wheels for the Fabia than the 17" spiders. They just look mint.

Looking good fella, always like the spiders on the Fabia.

looking good, ive got weitec's and i found that 12 threads from the bottom [front] and all way down on the rear sits just right for me

Thanks very much. I'm going to lower the front to level it out with the back.
