Sticking At 1250-1500 Rpm

Featured Replies

Just got a vrs SE and every now and then it sticks at 1260-1500 rpm. Any easy cure for this or is it a big fix that I need to get done under warranty

I think that sounds like the 'BLT (engine code) stutter' and is caused by the size of the gasket used in the EGR valve. If you do a search on here based on that, something should pop up as it's a common issue. I think that Skoda will replace it with a different sized one for you - but not sure if they charge once out of warranty.

Sounds like the throttle pedal assembly needs replacing, happened to me too.
