Rear seatbelt jammed

Featured Replies

I was messing around trying to remove the rear seats from the back of my fabia estate. Got the small back seat off and attempted to remove the larger back seat. Pinged off the top of the seatbelt cover by mistake and now the seatbelt is fully locked and the belt is so tight it won't allow me to bring the cushion fully upright.

I've read around a bit and it sounds like removing the seatbelt anchor might do the trick, I don't have the right tool to take the bolt off though.

Any ideas?

Is the seat fully fitted in its upright position? The belts lock when the seats are taken out.

I've tried to move the seat as upright as possible. Still seems to be locked though.. I can't get the seat fully fitted back in as there's not enough belt left to maneuver it in! Will any of the clips effect the seatbelt mechanism? I thought it was a separate system?

So its not fully back in the normal fitted position? ie locked in?
