VW Passat Sport 2.0 TDI 140 for sale

Featured Replies

Hi everyone, I think that my search for an Octavia VRS is more or less complete (very excited I can tell you) so am now selling my current Passat. It is a 2005/55 model in Arctic Blue Silver metallic and overall in very good condition.

Details as follows:

2005/55 (first registered 22/12/05)

88,236 miles

2.0 litre engine

140bhp

MOT to 5 March 2012 (no advisories and all previous MOT certificates available to prove mileage)

Taxed to end of March 2011

Full service history

- three VW stamps at 18,680, 37,186 and 56,909 miles (Hayselden Doncaster)

- fuel pump recall done

- Sunset VW (excellent local VW specialist) stamps at 75,405 and 85,031 miles (last one dated 6/8/10)

- cambelt and water pump changed by Sunset at 76,769 miles

- next service due at 95,000 miles

Other work done

- 2 rear tyres(Conti Sport Contact) and 4-wheel alignment done at Buckley Tyres in North Wales on 8/7/10.

- front brake discs and pads and front wishbone bushes done on 15/6/10

I am the second owner and have owned it since 1/4/09, during which time I have done around 20,000 miles with no problems at all. I have garaged the car every night.

I had a Westfalia detachable towbar fitted as I used to tow a caravan, but in the end only towed twice with the car. It also has fitted the VW rear bumper valance with removable panel, so if you do intend to use it to tow, then it is completed invisible when not fitted. It has the 13 pin electrics, but an adapter to convert to 12N and 12S. The ECU has been coded so that the anti-snake capabilities are enabled when towing.

Also fitted with full mud flaps, VW mats, cruise control and front and rear parking sensors.

In very good condition inside and outside, with only minor marks and small scratches but nothing significant at all.

The fuel consumption is astounding for such a big car, just checked the trip computer and over 2836 miles it has averaged 46.3 mpg. On a run it will easily beat 50mpg.

I have both remote keys and the full VW book pack.

I am in DERBY and any inspection of the car is welcomed.

Asking price is £6750ono
