i'm looking to install a carputer..if thats actually being accepted as the description.

i'm using a laptop as the guts so its small enough to fit directly into my glove box without any mods other than to the laptop.

in mounting the screen to the dash, i have been considering he curent 12.1 tft from the laptop,or either a xenarc or lilliput screen

I like the option of the motorized head unit available to store the Lilliput,

alternatively it should be set into the dash, as opposed to mounting on some sort of lolipop dangly arm thingy,

Using the standard 12.1 is off putting cos i would have to mount on a stem as its probibly to big to get into the consol, also i'd like to include touch screen to make the system more user friendly, which the original screen is laking.

has anyone any pics of any mods completed to give me an idea of the finnished product?

also can anyone recommend any suppliers of custom dash facia to house the screen if it goes that way.
