I got it on eBay if you type in richbrook aerial there's plenty to choose. I went for a black one to go with the roof but you can get smart alloy ones.

Well done to you JHP-VRS! I am really surprised by some of the recent posts from people telling us that the cars are starting to come through all of a sudden. My experience is unfortunately not as good: I ordered a 105PSCR Fabia Elegance Estate first week of December and dealer tells me he still hasn't even got a build week! That's 10 weeks and counting. What's going on with Skoda? A build date would be nice!

I know it could be to do with some of the extras I have ordered but it is really frustrating to hear of cars being built before mine despite being ordered way after mine.

Rant over - will just have to be patient!

Unfortunately that could be due to the fact you have ordered an estate. I suspect they have to wait for a minimum production run being ordered and i'm guessing that the demand for the estate is far less than the hatchback. However, i sympathise on the wait time, especially if your current car is going to start costing you money soon such as servicing, mot(?) tyres etc. I hope you wait is not too much longer. Jerry

Git, I ordered my Elegance 105 DSG on 2 November and it's being built the week before yours!

Ordered my VRS Hatch on 14/01/2011 and have confirmed build date of week 9 (Early March) with delivery at end of March. The waiting is def the worst bit. Got a five bar gate counter on the fridge which i can add to every day. Bit sad I know!!!!!

Just had call from skoda to confirm my VRS is being built next week and should be with me by the middle or end of March. Almost there now. Will be worth the wait but time is dragging sooooooooooooooooooooo sloooooooooooowly!!!! ordered some vRS mats off e-bay for £40 inc delivery. Came yesterday. Really good quality and delivered within 2 days. NICE!

Extremely excited now! Just had a call from the dealer to say my car is arriving tomorrow! Going to sign papers today then collect Saturday. :-)

Yeah it's definitely been a quick one, when the dealer told me the build date he said that I had done well compared to a lot of his customers. I guess it's part to do with me keeping options to a minimum and a large part to do with luck of the draw!
