Looking for pics of a WRC spoiler fitted and where is the best place to get one from?

And what do you guys think? Does it look good, Better than the VRS version or just leave it alone? lol

Do they just bolt on where the rs one is if not how do they???

The WRC is not like these one:

http://www.ecstuning.com/Volkswagen-Jetta_IV--2.0/Exterior/Body/Spoiler/ES4585/

The page claims

"Manufactured by Genuine VW, the people who know your car, you can be sure that this part will fit like stock. With such a fantastic fit, others will think your vehicle rolled off the assembly line with this spoiler installed. Votex guarantees a perfect fit and finish for your vehicle and you will be equally pleased with the installation."

It's on sale, and at 44.95 is a real bargain, not sure if shipping is going to kill you @ UK.

Sorry but that is ugly as sin!!!

Just trying to help, I actually don't like super dupper spoilers for powerfull high speed downforce... that's why I have a lip spoiler

don't tell me that *those at superskoda look much better...

Yes they do bolt on where the RS one does, well mine did. But I also sealed mine with tiger seal to stop any movement that might cause paint cracking.

Hi there buddy, does not really help as that page shows a VW Bora spoiler and possibly will not fit the Skoda , and as the thread title is specifically stating a WRC one it is missing the point somewhat :giggle:

Would like the Kevlar spoiler but way too much money.

there are these:

This one made from Polyurethane

http://www.redhotstyling.co.uk/skoda-octavia-rear-spoiler-style-p-622.html

GRP models

scroll down to the £124.95 spoiler. Probably the one I'll get.

http://www.carstyleplus.co.uk/Skoda_Octavia/skoda_octavia.html

appears to be the same company?

http://www.m-99.co.uk/Car_Bodykits/Skoda_Octavia/skoda_octavia.html

Also there are ebay versions which are one piece without the lower cross section.

They don't suit the vrs IMO to over the top. The vrs looks better standard but each to there own I suppose. there was a genuine Kevlar one for sale in car parts not long back

2's just greedy :giggle:

It's a personal preference I guess, I'm not a fan of them on the vrs. If I'd have wanted big spoilers I'd have brought an evo

I think Vrs looks more balanced with the WRC spoiler.

The standard spoiler makes the car look front "heavy" in appearance.

And agreed 2 kevlar spoiler is just gre(e)dy lol

Happily take one off your hands for free.

Just to annoy you further. This is what it looked like before I painted one.

That £124.95 looks like is the one I have. Don't like the ones without lower cross section.

I brought mine off ebay not knowing where it came from until i picked it up . The guy was polish so im guess from poland lol . Anyway i got it , got it painted and came to fit it and OH NO it was about an inch short !! Luckly it did pull out and fitted but it was a big chance and the holes didnt pick up with the Standard VRS spoiler .

I like it think it looks spot on but as someone said earlyer each to there own

Im still undecided!!!! not sure i like the wrc one or the wrx version! but i know one thing it doesnt look right on a standard car!!!

Unless it been lowered and/or with differnet wheels its just not right

My car is silver and the pics one here of the silver one it looks right, but i just cant make up my mind

Perhaps i need the WRC front air dam too! lol

I know it's off topic sorry

I did that to my number plate Nickbes with the white stud in the '0' to turn it into a 'c' . But with my luck i got pulled , fined and reported to the DVLA ! So i went down a different route and touch wood its going ok lol

The Germans !

As for the spoiler , its a case of weather you like or hate them . I love mine looks good on the car . It does cover the back window and restric your view . Ive found out at night its just about right to cover the driver behind you headlights so your not getting blinded as much
