Mot fail.

Featured Replies

As title suggests fail on two counts

1.) rear indicators not orange enough.

2.) cracked driveshaft gate.

Bit annoying as I just spent a shed load on pcd adapters and water pump cam belt change!!

Buy some orange bulbs for the indicators and the gaiter needs replacing ideally.

Or if the fronts are OK, buy some silver ones for the front and put those old fronts in the rear. That's what I did. B)

I'm not sure about the drive-shaft boot though.

CV gaitor should be done ASAP, as once they run dry of grease, the CV joint can snap easily under power.

Yea get the gaitor done sharpish and pop it back through. Can be a bit of a git if you've got a inflexible boot kit, a bit of a pain in the ar$e home job, fairly easy/cheap garage job. If your mot tester was worth his fee he would have put some orange bulbs in for you and not bothered complaining.

All done now mot passed thankfully my mechanic worked late last night as he knew I started my iam driving course today! Nothing like leaving it to the last minute!

Cant complain at such minor failings, could have been a lot worse
