after purchase factory made parts installation

Featured Replies

hello

due to a 25% discound offer of my Octavia 1.8, at the elegance level, i booked it right away.

however the car did not have.

Parking sensors.*1

Rear windscreen wiper.*2

curtain type airbags.*3

the question is, are all these really difficult to install as an upgrade?

within reasonable cost of course...

1*the dealer offered me aftermarket sensors for free, however they have only acoustic warning....no indications in the Maxidot or Swing.

2* I wonder if it needs new back door as well

3* really good to had, but i wont lose my head thinking the event of a crash...(as long i am careful, i hope life will turn ok...)

Parking sensors should be easy,

Rear Wiper, not impossible but will be a technical job as you will need a whole rear hatch, wiring loom, relays, and new control stalk.

Airbags, I would say are impossible to fit after as there is just way to much involved. Sensors, Wiring, Airbag ECU and all the connections to make.
