Hi guys, a couple of quickies for those whom can help.

1. I read the manual but must have missed it, is there a switch/control for making the dashboard lights brighter or dimmer ? Cannot see one ? Where is it ?

2. I have the Amundsen Sat Nav. Every time I remove the CD it says no media installed. Read the manual it says copy the CD to an SD card to free up the CD slot - I have an SD card and the menu says this will take 40 - 60 mins to complete. Before I do this job just want to check that this is correct and the sat nav needs either the CD or an SD card to actually work ? ( i somehow had in my mind it would store everything internally???)

Posted up a couple of pictures on the review thread, I think i have the dubious honour of being first combo of Silver, Black Roof and Dark Chrome wheels !

There is no instrument panel light adjustment. ( was on the Mk1 vRS)

Don't have the Sat Nav unit.

Satnav needs either CD or SD card. Not enough internal memory to store all the map data.

Looks good, I've ordered an estate in silver with the same wheels - no option for the black roof though, but will have black roof rails which I think should look good.

The only light you can Alter is the one that Illuminates the Radio on/off button. If you go into the Radio menu up there is a Lummi 1 & Lummi 2 settings, It does something like illuminates all the time or only when the lights are on.......Have a play and see

Copied the SAT NAV disk to the SD Card so it frees up the CD slot.

Cheers, yes with the chrome/black wheels, black roof rails, and black rubbing strips I think it'll look good. I see others get the choice of graphic grey which I might have went for - but not an option in the UK for some reason.
