The Remap War- Revo Technik vs. Kiirus

In fairness to Shark, or more specifically Ben at Shark, out of all the companies that I rang to discuss remapping my latest car with - Ben was literally the only one that didnt try to make himself look bigger by slating the competition! He was very respectful indeed actually towards another forum sponsor thats recently posted on this thread (they mapped my old mk1 Octavia 1.8T 4x4 many years ago and it was a great job imo!) but I was especially stunned how one of "the biggest VAG tuners" (they mentioned this a couple of times!) :D ripped apart other remapping companies and gave misinformation on how they go about achieving the results they achieve and the apparent limitations of their hardware! :o:rofl:

It lost the sale for me and I doubt very much that im the only one!

Could you please PM me who it is?

At the moment Shark are the only people that DO a map for my car. Spoke to Celtic and they said they were pulling their map as they went and mapped a Polo and it then wouldnt start"

Spoke to two of the so-called "big names" is remapping, one never bothered to answer me and the other told me that "there are no plans to develop a remap for this engine as there will be insufficent demand"

Take it theat means they dont want to map any of the VAG range with the 1.2 TSi!

Over the years i've had a superchips, custom code (JBS), Noble Motorsports and Shark remap.

Theres only one company I went back to and will continue to use from now on. That is Shark Performance.

I've got to know Ben well over the last 18 months. Ben and everyone involved at Shark deserve all the positive comments made about them

All I can say is if your thinking of a remap just give them a call. You have nothing to loose and everything to gain B)

I cant praise them enough but the proof is in the pudding as they say so make sure you give them a call.

thank you. You are lucky to have Shark, but I think in india we will have to do with either Revo, custom code or psi tuning

shark performance do an STS handset that allows you to remap your car with his map from anywhere in the world. GUys in the middle east and new zealand are running his maps via his STS handset. its similar to the bluefin handset
