Hello guys, this is a thread to share your opinions on who is the best tuner for Skoda cars. Please feel free to suggest any other tuners also ( I haven't added most of the big tuners out there.)

I haven't had mine done......yet! But i will be using Shark Performance. It seems EVERYONE who has used Ben on here speaks very highly of him and his services.

My wife wont let me have a remap yet though as we've got a baby on the way. She's got her priorities all wrong

As onmeheadson says, Shark is the one to go for but I don't think he's got an Indian office just yet!

Very true, that's one of the reasons I went with DNA tuning. DNA do sell to a lot of other companies and I know of a few of us on here who also have DNA maps without them knowing

You are right, but we are definetly one of them who do and develop everything ourselves.

Thats why we at Shark do our R&D ourselves, and you wont get a Shark map from anywhere else. Would be unfair to our customers if we sold our products outside our dealer network.

So people from this forum went to a DNA dealer without knowing / tuner who didn't tell them they are a DNA dealer?

I admit, I'm pretty proud of all the R&D we do at Shark, and I know our current and upcoming dealers are too, and they are more than happy to tell our customers where their remap comes from.

You can see all the mods and remaps done on Skoda cars as well as other project cars here. Done by Peter Chacko- Petes Performance Products.They even develop their own tuning boxes for diesel cars.They are one of the best in India. They have collaborated with Custom Code & PSI Technologies.

They have even done a remap on an Audi R8 4.2 FSI.(Link-http://www.petes.in/audiproject.html).

From the perspective of someone thats had many different maps over the years on the last 8 or so cars... from all the big players inc Jabba (once), Revo (three times), Superchips (twice), Celtic Tuning etc etc...

The only thing I have to say is that the SHARK map is the finest map Ive ever experienced. :yes: Getting to deal with Ben with an amazingly able team is just the cherry on the cake.

In fairness to Shark, or more specifically Ben at Shark, out of all the companies that I rang to discuss remapping my latest car with - Ben was literally the only one that didnt try to make himself look bigger by slating the competition! He was very respectful indeed actually towards another forum sponsor thats recently posted on this thread (they mapped my old mk1 Octavia 1.8T 4x4 many years ago and it was a great job imo!) but I was especially stunned how one of "the biggest VAG tuners" (they mentioned this a couple of times!) ripped apart other remapping companies and gave misinformation on how they go about achieving the results they achieve and the apparent limitations of their hardware!

It lost the sale for me and I doubt very much that im the only one!

so what would be the shark performance idea of a generic or custom remap and where would you say that your remap STS handset remaps and remaps @ the shark HQ by ben sit within that.
