Ordered early Dec 10 with an approx delivery April/May '11,to my surprise Dealer rang last week to say it was due to land any day for 1st March 11 plate delivery.I was not expecting it until May with a 6 month wait for Diesels, however next week (Friday 4th ) will do nicely.Also booked in on Saturday for a complete professional detail, so the VRS CR 170 manual in race blue (Dec '09, 59 plate) shall be for sale sooner than expected.

I'm even worse. i'm going from 200 to 140

The luxury is more than enough compensation for the drop in power - get it remapped and you'll hardly notice the difference.

Post some pics up when you collect, I'd be really interested in seeing the FL Laurin and Klement in detail.

Good luck and try and get some sleep between now and then (although it'll be hard, as it is like Christmas for a seven year old waiting for a new car!)

Thanks for the replies. I just fancied a change,will seriously miss the VRS CR 170.

I changed my pre FL 170 CR VRS for a 140 CR Elegance in January. I really miss the sheer energy of the vRS however the 140 is not a slow car and combined with the enhancements to the FL range, overall refinement is noticeably improved. Just a shame that my 6 week old 'new toy' is currently off the road having been badly damaged in an accident last week.

1 week to go as from today.Looking forward to see if it manages to average above 55 mpg.VRS CR averages about 47mpg with 53 on a good distance run.
