Standard vs "high flow"

Just been looking at FR tunings website and they have a high flow exhaust manifold which claims to flow better. I was just wondering if anyone has experienced any benifit with one of these fitted?

I'm currently thinking of getting a jetex non resonated cat back exhaust system with a 3" de-cat off ebay, along with a shark performance remap.

Any advice or help would be great. :thumbup:

I dont think there is much point on the standard turbo.

Never heard of the manifold being a restriction.

Your probably right. Just wondered as the manifolds for the K03/03s, not sure if they k04 uses the same fitment?

the down pipe is the most restrictive bit. VAG exhausts have always been up to the job but I think it is the flexi pipe that is the narrowest bit

pointless on a standard turbo i have tried and tested and they did bugger all

in fact the standard k03 mannifold flows better than the mannifold on the k04 equipted cars

so save your money and leave it as standard
