will this fit?

Featured Replies

it will but it'll look ****. Get a mk4 golf armrest and bin the metal mount then secure like this (you will need to remove the central console though)

Is that the damaged seat cover I sold you?

Looks really good, I'm jealous.

I'm half tempted to get an armrest, but it would have to be re-trimmed by the Seat Surgeons to match my seats - Expensive!

I have a question..

So it looks something like this?

http://cgi.ebay.co.uk/VW-GOLF-MK4-BORA-COMPLET-ARM-REST-/280635986137?pt=UK_CarsParts_Vehicles_CarParts_SM&hash=item41573550d9

Is the plastic strong enough to hold the arm plus your arm plus rubbish in the compartment? or is it going through that bit of metal aswell? Im little confused. :S

Thats the one mate. Put it all together and just bin the metal mount on the far right of the pic. The screws hold it really well and they take plenty of weight.

Yeah, i used the back bit and sold on the base part.

Gah, missed another ebay moment :dull: I may just settle for a china/HK job.

Anyone have any feedback on china made 'OEM' products?

Thanks bud, I went a step further and bought from their American listing to get an extra £4-5 off due to the exchange rate :giggle:

Every little counts..

Edit: On the post before you said the central console needs to be taken out.. Erm.. from what I remember its a pig to remove? I may go for the glue gun then screw from behind option, see whats best when it arrives.. B)
