seen a few threads now on octys being sold. sad times :(

Sad times Buddy,

The car looks well looked after, what you asking for it?.

I know running costs are going up all the time, just taxed mine for another year, £235 !!!! for the privilage of driving over potholes and sunken

man hole covers, its disgusting.

If all the money collected was spent on the roads we would have the best roads in europe !!!!!!!!!.

Good luck

Peter

Yup that was me, I remember you now, nice looking car. I think thats a very fair price your asking.

If they are looked after, servicing etc octys seem to go on for ever.

I started driviing in the late 60's and i can not remember in all those years that the roads were as bad as they are now.

Good luck with the sale

Peter

Nice pair of Sammy's you have there buddy.

My first car was an '86 SJ413JX, and I still have the rare LWB '91 Samurai today (had it about 11yrs!).

My Samurai started off with some huge Colway nobbly tyres on, but ended up being my daily commuter!

Mods include: Weber twin-choke downdraft carb, K&N panel filter, Janspeed manifold & stainless system, ported/polished head, Koni & Monroe dampers, Compomotive VS alloys, MotoLita wheel, twin air horns, custom tow bar/rear skid and some rust!

My first one ended up becoming a donor car for the current one, so if you need any bits let me know.

I love SJ's/Sammy's, so really good to see one pop up on here!
