Hi guys, i'm in the market for a new/reconditioned GT1749VA/B.

The turbo needs to be bulletproof as i am think my KKK is about to blow.. :'(

Turbo Technics will be your best bet on price for a new/recon unit. Currently about £512 I think. As for bullet proof turbo, no such animal :rofl:

Is it really, or is it just the amount of recent 'blown turbo' threads that's playing tricks on you? :p

I did have GT1749VA until recently...sorry I can't be of more help.

I've still got the GT1749VB that came off my Ibiza, it needs a refurb though :thumbdown:

£500 and turbo techincs will turn that goosed pd150 into a hybrid
