......but blue much quicker! :giggle:B)

Hi, all,

after a long wait picked up my white vrs diesel yesterday, manual, full leather, xenons, maxidot, mdi, front and rear parking sensors, rear sunblind,

Can someone please tell me does maxidot display on the bolero, as don't seem to be able to get any options up in the dash display. All I get is the standard, fuel left, running time, oil temp, warning speed. Surely there is more but nothing shows. I have definatly got maxidot, just cant get into any menus.

Unable to read the manual as when I collected the car and opening the book up when I got home after a three hundred mile drive, the manual was all in German!!. I tell you what use is that to me. Been straight on to Skoda this morning to send english one out.

Hi I am glad you have got your car. Can you tell me when you ordered your vrs

Car was ordered end of September

Another White one, they're common emoticon-0110-tongueout.gifemoticon-0136-giggle.gifemoticon-0105-wink.gif

Glad i got Silver, should get a good price for it in 5 years, as not many around emoticon-0103-cool.gif

Approx 40% of all new cars are silveremoticon-0105-wink.gif

Obviously not applicable to VRS

My new vRS estate is white too. Strange, isn't it, that no more than five years ago white was a complete clunker and made you look like someone who has come to mend the photocopier.

White is the new black....

Just goes to show how much we are like sheep - and so easily swayed by the marketing men! We go from loathing to loving in so short a time - we are like putty in their hands.

Ordered my L&K diesel on 4th October and picked it up last Thursday. Goes like a dream and the CR engine is very sweet and willing and I was very surprised by the excellent fuel consumption with a new, tight engine. Only done just over 100 miles and it's showing around 55 mpg on a normal run.

By the way and just for the record, on the FL version (well mine anyway) there is no rocker switch at the end of the right hand stalk and the MFD is accessed by pressing the 'back' button (similar to the symbol on the 'enter' key on a keyboard) on the right hand side of the steering wheel with the ignition on, but engine not running. The wheel on right side of steering wheel is used to scroll through the various information when you're driving.

Bah  been there, wore the t-shirt.

Very glossy white slinking through the city at night with reflections all over the car... can't beat it :giggle:

Yes, but my last one was race blue - and if I'd had another, nobody would know I'd got a new one!

A touch of vanity that I probably shouldn't admit to....

White gets looks. "oh look another blue one"

Hehe

Do love blue, not as much as White this time.
