Hi, I have an 04 tdi octavia with a couple of problems. First is the reversing lights flash on and off when in reverse gear. Also, the rear wiper started to not work now and then, however, it has now packed up altogether. Any ideas?

Wiring fault at the reverse light switch plug under the battery. The wiring is quite short and tight and prone to breaking. The rear wiper motor has failed?, on some of them the washers go through the motor via an internal tube, this can leak and mess up the motor.
