Considering getting the 1.6 petrol manual Roomster, and wondered what kind of fuel economy to expect.

I have one...

Doing 50-60 on faster B roads you can get just over 40 MPG.

Dual carriageways cruising at 70+ it will be just under 40.

Mix of town stuff and B roads and it'll probably be early 30s.

On long motorway/dual carriageway runs my old Octavia 1.8T was more economical but round town the Roomster is better.
