That looks like the motor is actually stuck, or the flap door has an obstruction of some sort. Since this is the Recirc. Flap I'm guessing it's very near the Air Pollen filter. If that's like the VW equivalent, I think you can remove the pollen filter and gently push the flap door or look at the movement while running Basic Settings. I would not prevent it from moving during the test, but see if it sticks.

Can anyone confirm that, on Skoda Octavia 2 Facelift, by removing the air pollen filter I will actually be able to see the air recirculation flap?

But, you've been given some sound advice - why can't you not just go and use it, then report back, instead of asking questions about the answer given?

There are two flaps.. One for outside air and there is one inside for the AC when you turn on the switch. The one for the AC to be accessed, you need to remove the glove compartment and its just behind that on the top. The one for the outside air can be seen after removing the cabin filter. The error that you have seems to be of the top one.

Re-reviving this old thread since I just found the same fault in my diagnostics.

 

The top one is the hard-to-access one, the one related to the AC?

 

Any chance that this is why I my airco isn't (or seems not to be) working?
