Also for those that have sprayed standard wheels a different colour did your insurance go up at all?

I paid £320, sounds like a very good price to me.

Your insurance will probably go up (I have yet to inform mine :p )

That sounds good, but i`d look for somewhere that has a good rep over the cheapest place. Or failing that, DIY them

Think the previous owner paid £360 on mine. That was powder coated rims and centres.

I pay £45 +vat per wheel from Lepsons in Gillingham for a full refurb.

They have an excellent reputation and the quality of the work is outstanding!

I got my winter tyre alloys done for £20 quid a wheel (+£10 for removal and refit/rebalance tyre) at City Powder Coatings in Birmingham.

They were acid stripped, sand blasted, powder coated and lacquered. They did a good job as they were all kerbed and seriously corroded.

the place in newcastle area does a great job with some great choices of finishes...does mine for 180 nelsons..

got my spiders refurbed not long ago had a few kerb marks and started to bubble went from silver to black cost me £80

they look dull on pic but they are just dusty from storage

Cheers guys. Seems to be a pretty good price then. TBH my wheels are a wreck, kerbed, deep scrapes on the spokes, paint bubbling off due to bad corrosion.

Well Ill post picks up next week hopfully when they get done.

i payed £90 and they were spot on, that was mates rates however and my insurance did not go up
