Hello all im a new un so be gentle. I want to pick yer brains if thats ok. I usually can be found riding my chopper but today her who must be obeyed has an mot comin up n i need the name of the friggin part i cut off months back!!!! She runs a 2000 felicia estate GLXI and a few months ago the front pads disintergrated mangling what i think was the front ABS sensor ring. The thing was made from thin (this is biker speak remember so forgive me)steel, looked like half a bean tin and seemed to be in contact with the ABS wire.It was rattlin around behind the front disc and when the disc was removed it looked like you had to remove the large nut on the hub so in true biker fahion i got the old grinder out and ....er removed it. Purists dont cringe this is normal in the chopper world. If it looks like junk cut it off!!!

The ABS light was on (i presume because the sensor wire wasnt touching owt) but like i said its mot time n i am finding it hard to find the part. Is it the called the front ABS sensor ring or am i asking all the online scrappies for the wrong part? The car seems to be bomb proof and so far its been on of the easiest car ive ever worked on (everything comes off n goes on like a dream....not one bit of swearing or spanner throwing!!!)

So Skodaphiles can you help me ...whats the fingey bob called so i can try n find one or better still point me to the secret shed this part dwells in

Many thanks

Me

ps i promise to be nicer to Skodas in future as theyre a lot nicer than the ones stored at the back of my nans in Kingslynn during the 80s
