i am new to the fabia as my previous car the past 5 years was felicia . can anyone tell me what i can expect to get m.p.g ? . thanks

Which engine Felicia did you have? If it was 1.3 it should be a bit better.

I reckon on ~45 mpg for longer runs and mixed motorway work not exceeding 75 mph, nearer 50 if you can drive 55.

~40 mpg under everyday conditions.

~35 mpg in inner city conditions.

Hard to get it down to 30 mpg even with merciless thrashery.

These are more of a guideline than a rule and as ever it comes down to your everyday driving environment and style.

Don't treat her too gently all the time though, an 'italian tune' is highly recommended at least once per tankful, and keep an eye on the oil level.

my previous car my felicia was the 1.3 and i found it economical .

I took one out one day, a round trip of 300 miles with 5 hours driving time (60 mph mean speed) and the trip computer showed 48.5 mpg.
