I've read in a fair few threads that with a BLT engine, as it has an EGR cooler, the outlet going from the manifold is at a different angle? I may be completely wrong mind. I'm not sure what to do about the 2 options, either delete my EGR, or keep it. Eventually I want to change the turbo for an uprated one, but would prefer to keep my EGR just incase this MOT talk comes true. I just need some definite answers really.

Never heard of a erg cooler tbh.

With regards to the mot, whatever is bought in will only affect cars around the time it's bought in, onwards. It can't be backdated to cars made 6 or 7 years ago. It's all Chinese whispers at the moment.

Lastly, pd160 engines must have been euro 4 compliant, and obviously had a 150/60 turbo, so just nick a egr set up from that if it is different and you want to keep a egr valve.

What about the pipe that goes from the turbo manifold to the EGR valve though?

My engine light is on due to egr delete removal and can not be mapped out, I herd jabba said about connecting some wires to fool the ecu? This is a photo from my reciept explaining the light.

plenty have had it mapped out.

leave it in situ....

Been told as its the newer engine it couldnt be mapped out. I know its not them being lazy or anything as a mate of mine had his mapped out by the same person and he has the older model.

BLT engines egr work in a different way, so no it can't be mapped out.
