Scotchgarding VRS seats

Featured Replies

Any one thought of, or already given their VRS seats a scotchgarding. 3M do a very good product in an aerosol spray and it can be bought very reasonably from Halfords or B&Q.

Cheers

used it on mine..... they have lasted well

I have the scotchguard from B&Q and so far seems ok. Got rid of a few stains I had on the seats and seems to be keeping them clean. I've covered all the light area of the seats and no marks have appeared on them just yet since the application. It's supposed to leave an anti-soiling protection. It's a foam based spray aswell just so you know.

I did ours today with a spray can from Alders.

Can't remember the name off the top of my head - Guardsman or something.

I thought all of the 3M stuff had been withdrawn from sale.

I used some 3M scotchguard in a red tin. It wasn't a foam of anything, just a spray. I can't say if it works or not coz we've only done 1000 miles. It was very easy to apply though. - especially if you like getting high on spray fumes!

Same with me, I bought a 3M based product from a seller on Ebay, it was for Furniture and Upholstery, so far seems to be doing the job, although I could do with cleaning the rest of the inside of the car.
