ok, gonna get. stainless system. what size does the down pipe need to be? cheers

IIRC, the standard downpipe is 1.5 inch diameter, so you will probably need a reducer, or a decat.

Is that quote form the dealers? That's a proper rip!

that quote was from a local exhaust place. the decay pipe goes down to 2" as well

less someone has a cheap downpipe that they want to sell me? Just been quoted £400 for a new one :(

I have a down pipe stored in the loft (in fact the full OEM exhaust is up there) that was taken off my 53 reg Octy vRS on the 21/09/2007.

When it was removed it had done 17K (from new).

Let me know if you want it.

Bill.. are you interested in selling the exhaust from the cat back my car is a standard saloon and I want to keep it that way but do not fancy paying dealer prices when the time comes.

The exhaust is in very good condition, but the front mounting did crack (common fault) @ 15K when the car was just out of warranty, and is secured with clips.

Also the exhaust has been cut in one place to aid removal and so would need a joint to reconnect.

I can take some pic's in a day or two if you wish.
