Electric window problem

Featured Replies

Just replaced the battery in my Fabia, everything seems to be working fine except for the switches for the electric windows. The automatic up/down isn't working so I have to hold the switch for the duration of opening/closing. Anyone know how to fix this?

Cheers, Mike

Doing what you are doing, by holding the window switch down and then up a few times should reset the one-touch window facility, on the drivers side.

I did on mine, plus resetting radio code when I removed battery to check power-steering annual oil-level check.

hold both the buttons on the drivers side for 5 seconds in the up position whilst the windows are up.

Open window, close window and hold switch in close position for 10 seconds.

This will reset the one touch function.
