Easy way to switch off alarm

Featured Replies

Good monring. I am sure that the answer is in the book, but I am a man, and cant open it!!

I have a sunroof, and whenever I leave it open, the alarm goes off.

is there an easy way on a 'per lock' basis that I can switch the alarm off.

Thanks.

There's a button on the 'B' pillar by the driver's seat to disable the interior sensors...

Or simply press the lock button on the keyfob twice to disable the sensors.

IIRC, that disables the deadlocks as well, so someone could climb in through the open sunroof (depending on how open it is, of course) and open the car from the inside.

Interesting, will test that later, though presumably when the intruder opens the doors from the inside the alarm will still go off.

Easy close the roof.

The best way is have someone with vag-com and reduce the alarm value interior sensor to the minimal or just turn it off.

I have reduced mine to 70% and can leave the windows open a tiny bit without the alarm going off.
